Charges on your credit card statement

Why HEMROCK.COM/CHARGES (or FORESIGHT.IS/CHARGES) shows up on your statement, and what to do if you don't recognize it.

What this charge is

Hemrock sells financial model templates, live workshops and recordings, and advisory services to founders and investors. Until 2026 the business traded as Foresight, so an older charge may carry that name instead. The statement descriptor is HEMROCK.COM/CHARGES or FORESIGHT.IS/CHARGES, and it points here so you can work out what you bought without digging through email.

Depending on when you bought and what you bought, the charge came through one of a few processors. Purchases on this site run through Stripe or PayPal. Purchases before 2026 mostly went through Gumroad. Cohort courses ran on Maven. Advisory sessions were booked through Calendly for a while, and workshop registrations go through Luma. Each of those may show its own name on your statement alongside or instead of Hemrock, which is often the source of the confusion: the card shows a processor, the email shows Hemrock, and neither rings a bell three weeks later.

The amounts are usually a giveaway. Model templates are one-off purchases, many of them pay-what-you-want, and the free tools never charge anything. Workshops are a single fee per seat. Advisory work is invoiced separately and you'll have a signed agreement for it.

If you recognize the purchase

Where the receipt and the files live depends on where you bought.

  • Hemrock (2026 onward). Receipts, invoices and downloads are in your dashboard. Sign in with the email you used at checkout and the purchase is there.
  • Gumroad (pre-2026). Log in at gumroad.com with the email you used. Your library holds the receipt and the download link, and the current version of each model is still available there. Sign in here with the same email and your Gumroad purchases show up in your dashboard too.
  • Maven (cohort courses). Log in at maven.com. Cohort recordings and materials stay on Maven.

Purchases don't expire, and every model download includes updates. If you can't find a file you paid for, get in touch with the email you used and I'll sort it out. More on accounts, downloads and updates at Support.

If you don't recognize the charge

Check first whether someone else in your company or household made the purchase. Most unrecognized charges turn out to be a cofounder or an assistant buying a model for the team. The purchase email went to the address entered at checkout, which may not be yours.

If nobody you know made the purchase, contact me and I'll refund it. Include the charge amount, the date, and the last four digits of the card so I can find it. You don't need to dispute the charge with your bank first; a refund from me is faster, and a chargeback takes weeks and costs both of us. If you've already opened a dispute, tell me and I'll accept it rather than contest it.

Refunds in general

The terms say it plainly: I don't offer refunds on models, because you have the file the moment you buy it. What I do offer is an exchange for a different model at the same price if you bought the wrong one, and a straight answer before you buy if you're not sure which one fits. Email hello@hemrock.com with what you're trying to build and I'll tell you.
