How to invite

1. Open a model you own.
2. Click Collaborators.
3. Type the email of someone you want to edit with you. They don't need a Hemrock account yet.
4. If they have one, they get edit access immediately. If they don't, we email them a magic link. When they sign up using that link, they land directly in the model with edit access.

Invites and existing collaborators are listed together in the panel. Revoke either one at any time, with or without an active license. Revoking a pending invite frees the slot it was holding.

Limits

• 5 per model. Existing collaborators plus pending invites count together.
• 5 across all your models. Same total cap, applied to your account as a whole.

Both caps are reversible. Revoke an invite or remove a collaborator and the slot is yours to reuse.

Owner vs. invitee

• Owner manages share links, manages collaborators, can delete the model, and is the only one who needs the collaboration license.
• Invitee can edit any field. They cannot delete the model, change its share link, or manage other collaborators.

Invitees who already have a Hemrock account get instant access on the email you invited. Invitees without an account get a magic-link email; they sign up using that link, and their account is auto-attached as a collaborator. Either way, receiving an invite is free, and the underlying tool gets added to their dashboard so they can explore models on their own beyond the collaboration.

Pay-what-you-want, $49/yr minimum, owner-paid. Anyone you invite edits for free. See the collaboration license.

When your license expires

Existing collaborators keep their access. You can still remove collaborators and manage share links. The only thing that stops working is adding new collaborators, until you renew.
